Autism Speaks

More than 9,000 attendees participated in the 2016 Tampa Bay on April 23rd at Tropicana Field. In attendance were sponsors Outback Steakhouse, Raymond James, and the Tampa Bay Rays, who all spoke about the importance of Autism Awareness and supporting Autism Speaks. 

Guests in attendance were able to participate in activities such as inflatable pitching games, Legos, acts showcasing those with autism, and a juggling performance all while parents had the opportunity to find great resources and information in our Resource Fair area.

Just Jack's Team, sponsored by choinque, raised $20,560 for the event. A large portion of the funds were raised by a special Academy Leadership Excellence Course held 5-7 April.

As a result of Just Jack's Team's successful fund raising, he was invited to throw out the first pitch at the Orioles vs. Rays game 16 July 2016 at Tropicana field, shown in the above YouTube video.
